I've been a bad, bad yelper...been here 4 times but didn't write. Love it. My buddy took me one time b/c he loved it. I liked it so much I brought my wife for 'date night' 2 days later. Then have been back for lunch again with different people. Delicious, and decently priced. I will say the sushi i had was some of the best around, but was very expensive per piece. The owners / server are always very friendly. One time we ordered off their 'authentic thai street food menu'. Top right of menu. Something with a fried egg. Dang this was awesome. Other times we have ordered the lunch box for 2, served in authentic stacking bowls, which comes with thai iced tea, appetizer, and two dishes. We have eaten the green curry, red curry, and pad thai. Highly recommend About Bangkok!!!

i have never stepped foot in the restaurant, i order a lunch special with the office hand someone my card and magically it appears, i usually get the red curry with chicken thai hot however they always think white girl cant handle heat and somehow i dont get much spice at all or basil chicken, other homegirls at work get a sushi roll or two and they gobble that stuff up too. lunch special $10 comes with smaller than dinner portion however a small usually chicken rice soup and a small summer roll , consistently good just wish they'd believe this white girl can handle the heat literally and figuratively thank you very much

I'm very new to yelp and don't live in the area, but this is the first restaurant I was impelled to right a review for. About Bangkok is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. They have a wide array of authentic Thai dishes to choose from. Their menu is organized and has selections from noodles, to rice dishes, to your choice of meat. They even will customize each dish to your spice preference. I'm in love with their iced green tea berry drink! And for those sushi lovers, they have a good assortment of sushi dishes. Try the SUSHI PIZZA!

Excellent food! Great local family run restaurant! Their fried rice special is amazing and enough for dinner and to take the rest home for the next day! Friendly staff always with a smile on their faces! We live in Parkland, and it is a great spot close by to have a great family meal! Also good for takeout too! We have become regulars and truly have never had a bad meal or experience!

I opted to See It Like A Native and ordered Kha Pow Gai on the Street Food section of the menu. Delicious ground seasoned chicken with Thai basil and topped off with a fried egg. Delicious. Awesome attentive service too.

Tried this place for the first time today. Service was good. Our server recommended the fresh roll which was wonderful. 2 1/2 on 1 to 4 spicy scale was just right for me. Seafood Thai combination dish was very good as was the cashew chicken.

My husband and i have been here 3x in the last 3 weeks- and it's not even close by! This is a small, family-owned and operated Thai and sushi joint. They Thai menu is quite large, with a lot more choices than the average Thai place. They have a section of the menu, street food, and we tried the Ka Pow Gai. It's chicken stir-fried in a sort of sweet gingery brown sauce, topped with a fried (not sunny side up as it states on the menu) egg. It was delish! Flavor was awesome, and it was different than any other Thai dish i've eaten. Their peanut dressing is amazing as well. I'm super picky about peanut dressing, and this place does it right! So right, that i would gladly funnel it. Between all of our visits, we've had the green, red, and panang curry. ALL of these were amazing- the sauces were rich and thick and filled with meat and veggies. I also appreciate how they use yellow, red, and green bell peppers instead of just the usual green. The Thai food is definitely the star here, but do not overlook the sushi! We love the tuna tower- the fish is fresh, and this dish is just as tasty as it is pretty! My dad ordered the red dragon roll and loved it! He didn't share though- but hey, that's a good sign right!? The sweet husband and wife team noticed we've been coming in so often, that they gave us dessert on the house- and experimental desert of fried nutella wraps. And you guessed it... Yummy!!

Wish I could give it more than 3 stars. I was so excited to try this place. this place was previously known as bow Thai and now it's Thai and sushi restaurant. I'll tell you why I was excited: seemingly authentic Thai food! But I have to say... I was a bit disappointed. I saw a fellow yelper posted a picture of Kao mun gai which reminded me of hainanese chicken. It looked so moist in the picture.... When I received my dish, it was just sad and looked nothing like the picture. The chicken was so dry and the rice was flavorless. The dipping sauce was ok, but still cannot hide the obvious fact that the chicken was microwaved numerous times. I also ordered a mixed berry green tea, it looked so cool in a mason jar. Tea taste? Not much. The service was ok. Not above and beyond but they seem to be very nice. I think I would give it one more try but maybe stick with something less unusual. Maybe just some good ol' pad Thai and fried rice...

This place was amazing!! I went with a group of friends and since we walked in I fell in love with the flower arrangements and it felt so welcoming! The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can observe Thai paintings and decorations. The food was amazing !! Definitely coming back with my family and more friends!! Annie and the waiters made our night with great customer service!!

I was more than impressed with my whole dining experience! Walking into "About Bangkok" my group and I were genuinely welcomed by the staff as well as the restaurants garden like, yet traditional, atmosphere. Our waitress pleasantly sat us down and we again were greeted by one of the many orchids placed around the dining room. The menu was extensive for the size of the restaurant, ranging from many of the popular Thai dishes to modern Thai street foods. Our table ordered a bowl of Panang Curry, a plate of Deep Fried Duck, and zesty plate of Drunken Doodles from the Street food half of the menu. All the food was colorful, served beautifully and most of all flavorsome. In addition to providing great Thai iced tea and coffee, we were also served the most beautiful and surprisingly strong Sake Martinis. The service was phenomenal, even the owner took her time to ask about our meals and whether were enjoying our experience. I look forward to returning to "About Bangkok" to explore more of the amazing menu and great service. Oh and on top of all that they also serve sushi!

Fabulous! From Dahne's "Thai Garden," to Duke's "Bow Thai," Annie's "About Bangkok" carries on the tradition of excellent Thai food in the Coral Springs/Parkland area.. If you've loved Nit's Pad Thai, you will not be disappointed. The tempura Oreos just topped off a perfect dinner.

We absolutely loved it!!! My fiancé and I had a wonderful meal there. She had the ginger chicken with vegetables and I had the cashew chicken. Both dishes more than exceeded our expectations. The small restaurant was atmospheric and clean. The service was flawless and the sake was delicious and surprisingly strong. We will definitely be back.

Hard upsale, pad Thai made with sauce/gravy, slow service, offered to 'add a little rice' to take home (which we didn't need), but then were charged! Go elsewhere

The food are delicious. Recommended all of the "Street Food" category. Very different.

Good thai food, the Basil Tofu was good, I asked medium-spicy, and I believe it could be a bit spicier, but is fully understandable they err on the side of precaution. Good service and the place is small but well taken care of, and the staff was very friendly. The menu has these Street Food category, I was not feeling adventurous, but likely will go for these in a future visit.
